The Peaks of New Orleans Saints

Last week New Orleans Saints won a beautiful fight at Cincinnati, but quarterback Drew Brees contributed a lot to the win, performing best of the season. The game was the peak of Brees, who led the Saints from behind in the final minutes for the second straight week. It’s apparently that Brees has gotten his mojo turning up in the Saints’ five winning streaks back, as the MVP of Super Bowl XLIV.

After the game Brees himself said he did feel like he had been playing better and was in a perfect status. We believe it certainly is, for his good performance, throwing for 1,047 yards, seven touchdowns and four interceptions in three games since the bye week. But there is only one thing that makes Brees feel frustrated, which keeps Brees out of most MVP conversations, which are being dominated by New England’s Tom Brady (only four interceptions this year) and Philadelphia’s Michael Vick (only two INTs).

The fans aren’t showing much more respect to Brees, the guy always in Authentic Drew Brees Black Jersey. He ranks seventh among all vote-getters for the Pro Bowl, according to the NFL. But he’s sixth among quarterbacks, behind Vick, Peyton Manning, Brady, Green Bay’s Aaron Rodgers and Rivers. But this guy’s athletic ability really sets him apart. In my heart, he is a world champ.
